The Fortieth anniversary manufacturing directed by Lindsay Posner (God of Carnage, Hay Fever, Stones in his Pockets), will return to the West Finish with Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, Rain Man, Pleasure) as Garry Lejeune and Tamzin Outhwaite (EastEnders, The Tower, Candy Charity) as Belinda Blair alongside the beforehand introduced Felicity Kendal (The Good Life, Comparatively Talking, Hay Fever) as Dotty Otley, Jonathan Coy (Anatomy of a Scandal, Comparatively Talking, Ink) as Frederick Fellowes and Alexander Hanson (Killing Eve, Follies, forty second Avenue) as Lloyd Dallas. Sasha Frost (His Darkish Supplies, Folks) and Pepter Lunkuse (Hamlet, Nell Gwynn) will reprise their roles as Brooke Ashton and Poppy Norton-Taylor with Oscar Batterham (Richard III, The One That Acquired Away) becoming a member of the manufacturing as Tim. Additional casting can be introduced sooner or later.

Felicity Kendal says: ‘I’m so completely happy to be revisiting Noises Off and particularly on the lovely Theatre Royal Haymarket.’

Mathew Horne says: ‘I’m completely and completely thrilled to hitch the now legendary firm and manufacturing of this masterpiece of a play. I’m celebrating my return to the West Finish with sardines!’

Posner’s celebrated manufacturing opened to important acclaim at Theatre Royal Tub in Autumn 2022 earlier than transferring to London’s Phoenix Theatre in January 2023. Alongside its upcoming West Finish season, Theatre Royal Tub Productions has just lately introduced that the Fortieth-anniversary manufacturing will embark concurrently, on a serious UK tour from 23 August 2023 – 13 January 2024. The tour will star Liza Goddard, Matthew Kelly and Simon Shepherd.

One of many biggest British comedies ever written, Michael Frayn’s celebrated play serves up a riotous double invoice – a play inside a play. Hurtling alongside at breakneck pace, Noises Off follows the on and off-stage antics of a touring theatre firm as they stumble their approach by means of the fictional farce, Nothing On. From the shambolic closing rehearsals earlier than opening night time in Weston-super-Mare, to a disastrous matinee in Ashton-under-Lyne seen solely, and hilariously silently, from backstage, earlier than we share their closing, brilliantly catastrophic efficiency in Stockton-on-Tees.

Noises Off is written by Michael Frayn. The artistic staff for this Fortieth anniversary manufacturing consists of Lindsay Posner (Director), Simon Higlett (Designer), Paul Pyant (Lighting Designer), Greg Clarke (Sound Designer), Will Stuart (Composer), Ruth Cooper-Brown (Motion and Combat Director), George Jibson (Affiliate Director), Ginny Schiller (Casting Director).
