Hasanah.id – A senior Iranian official has revealed that Iran may permit a limited number of oil tankers to pass through the Hormuz Strait under a specific condition: the oil shipments must be traded using Chinese yuan instead of U.S. dollars.
According to a report by CNN released Friday, the proposal is part of Tehran’s broader strategy to regulate tanker movement through the crucial maritime route that connects major oil producers in the Middle East to global markets.
The development comes as geopolitical tensions in the region continue to intensify, raising concerns about energy security worldwide.
Hormuz: A Strategic Lifeline for Global Energy
The Hormuz Strait remains one of the most important chokepoints in global energy logistics. Each day, roughly 20 million barrels of oil pass through the narrow waterway, representing a significant share of the world’s energy supply.
In addition to crude oil shipments, the strait also carries about 20% of global liquefied natural gas trade, making it a critical route for energy exports from Gulf nations.
Because of its strategic role, any disruption to traffic in Hormuz can quickly ripple across international energy markets.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
